The Contra Costa HIV/AIDs Consortium advocates and provides support for people impacted by HIV/AIIDS, plans prevention and care services, develops recommendations and advises governments and community leaders in Contra Costa County. The Consortium is responsible for developing recommendations about programs and services, areas of greatest need and the best methods to meet those needs in Contra Costa residents.
Case Management and Primary Care make up the heart of the Contra Costa System of HIV Care. This system works with other systems, utilizing CARE Act funds as funding of last resort, to help individuals with HIV/AIDS access and stay in care.
